Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) Team Uncovers Destruction of Critical Agricultural Documents
The Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) team, led by Chairman Samuel Okudzto Ablakwa, has uncovered a shocking discovery at the Agricultural Mechanisation Centre that is raising alarms about potential corruption and mismanagement. During a routine inspection, the team stumbled upon a large quantity of receipts and vital data that had been deliberately destroyed, sparking concerns over the integrity of past operations at the centre.
“These are very important documents—agreements, contracts, tender evaluations, reports, and hire purchase records,” Ablakwa remarked during a briefing at the scene. He went on to stress the historical and governance value of the documents, which date back to 2009 and were central to the establishment and operations of the Agricultural Mechanisation Centre.
The chairman voiced his frustration at the destruction, underscoring that such documents, which should have been preserved as part of the country’s historical archives, had been deliberately discarded. “At least preserve our documents, preserve our archives. Their focus was just looting the land; they weren’t bothered,” he lamented.
The destroyed documents are believed to contain crucial information on tenders, agreements, and land allocations that could shed light on financial transactions and dealings at the centre. The ORAL team suspects that the destruction was a calculated attempt to cover up potential irregularities and corruption during the previous administration’s tenure.
This revelation has ignited public outrage, with many Ghanaians calling for a thorough investigation into the destroyed records. Citizens are demanding accountability for those responsible for the missing documents, which could potentially expose misuse of state resources.
The Operation Recover All Loot team has vowed to press on with its efforts to uncover and recover assets, ensuring that the nation’s resources are protected from state capture and mismanagement. Ablakwa and his team remain committed to their mission of accountability and transparency, urging the government and the public to support their work in safeguarding the nation’s interests.
