Labadi Beach Hotel, Ghana’s premier five-star destination, has declared a dividend of GH¢16.51 million to its sole shareholder, the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT). The announcement was made at the hotel’s recent Annual General Meeting (AGM), where Managing Director David Eduaful highlighted the achievement as a testament to the hotel’s unwavering dedication to excellence. This success, Eduaful noted, has solidified Labadi Beach Hotel’s role as a flagship of Ghana’s hospitality industry.
“Every accolade and satisfied guest is a testament to the passion and commitment of our entire team,” said Eduaful, who was also recognized as the CIMG Marketing Man of the Year 2023. He expressed pride in the hotel’s recognition this year, including awards from the Ghana Tourism Authority as Five-Star Hotel of the Year (both Regional and National), and the title of Hospitality Facility of the Year by CIMG.
Looking ahead, Labadi Beach Hotel’s management has set its sights on strategic growth and innovation, with a vision to raise industry standards in Ghana’s hospitality sector. “We’re excited about what’s ahead,” Eduaful added. “With the support of our Board and the resilience of our team, Labadi Beach Hotel is poised to scale new heights, redefining excellence and luxury at every turn.”
Prof. Douglas Boateng, Board Chairman of Labadi Beach Hotel, commended the hotel’s strong governance principles, crediting minimal interference from SSNIT and a steadfast commitment to quality as foundational elements of its success. He stated, “This milestone is a testament to what can be accomplished when an organization is guided by excellence and sound governance principles.”
As Labadi Beach Hotel continues its journey, it stands as a model of success, setting new benchmarks for Ghanaian hospitality and reaffirming its position as a top luxury destination in West Africa.
